Recently I've been having problems getting this girl off my back. She won't stop calling me during the day.. she's calls me at work and after work. Constantly texting me... This been going on for about a month now. She's TOLD me that she likes me several times (she broke up with her ex because of me). Each time she's told me, I just go "uh huh"...I feel like I've been leading her on for a month now, I went out with her 3 times, talked on the phone for god knows how many hours in September (60-70 hours?) and now she's making more plans to go out with me (this saturday and then clubbing on halloween). I haven't given a clear answer to those two plans yet, everytime she asks I just change the topic. I don't want to go flat out and say " I'm sorry, I don't have the same type of feelings for you" as I don't want to hurt her (she just got out of a relationship recently / rough times) I don't know what to do, slowly give hints that I don't like her? Or just cut all ties(ignore calls, delete her of msn, facebook) Even if I do cut off all ties with her, I'm still going to see her next saturday at my friends party.... ahhh! This is driving me nuts.

How do you like to take a band-aid off? If you take it off slowly, then ignore her calls. If you rip band-aids off, ask her where you see this relationship going. After her response, disagree with her. If you also rip scabs off, then bring another date to your friend's party.

buddy, there's no "nice way" of rejecting someone. just grow a pair and do it. unless you're liking the attention and that's the underlying reason why you just can't break it to her?

To the OP: here's a thought... maybe she thinks you are interested because you've gone out with her and spend two hours/night talking to her... Either be a man about it and tell her you aren't interested or stop leading her on.
