Sony A57 DSLR Camera w/Lens for $530
Sony 16.1 MP Digital SLR Camera 18-55mm Lens Kit (SLTA57K) - Black for $530

Bestbuy price matched Henry's $599 price and there's also a 10% on all camera equipment at Bestbuy. So came out to approx. $530 before taxes.
This offer should be good until Jan 10, 2013.

why would they price match + give 10% off? Seems as though the 10% off makes it 630, therefore they price match 10% of the difference, which would only beat the price by 3$ making it 597$, right?

The lady from Bestbuy said is was $602.06, taxes in. My order don't reflect the price match discount, but she said it was applied.

An amazing camera but get the upgraded 18-135 lens at Henrys for $200.
That lens on it's own is $550. It's a great range and designed to be quiet for video.
The Sony SLT's are the only SLR's that do proper auto-focusing during video. A real gamechanger.
I had been a Canon boy for years but the Sony changed everything when I got it over the summer.

The deal at Costco is the A37 and not the A57. The A57 is a much better deal then the A37 and the key differences are below...
Much larger screen 3.0" vs 2.6" Around 20% larger screen
Much higher resolution screen 921k dots vs 230k dots More than 4x higher resolution screen
Shoots much faster 12 fps vs 7 fps More than 70% faster continuous shooting
Supports 24p Yes vs No Get that real film feel
Slightly longer battery life 550 shots vs 500 shots 10% more shots per battery charge
Thinner 3.2" vs 3.3" Almost the same

75-300mm is a loud zoom lens not made for video. The 18-135mm is an all-purpose "walk-around" lens designed to be quiet for video. It's a much better default lens to keep on your camera than the 18-55mm.
Obviously when you want to shoot long you will switch to your other lens but 80% plus you will be better off with the 18-135mm lens.
You will get one shot at a "kit lens" deal so make the best of it.

OP got lucky, that's all. Technically BB should price match based on $630 price. So that is $600 - (10% of $30) = $597.
