Just bought the A80J at Costco today. Waiting for price adjustment on Friday. Now I have no idea if I need new HDMI cables. I have a ht-z9f sound bar using the cable that came with it probably a 2.0 but it has eARC do I need a 2.1 hdmi cable to connect this two? I also have a 25Ft cable that connect my current tv to my Rogers ignite box, it is probably a 1.4 version.
Amazon.ca
Sony A80J 65" OLED TV for $2600 (also at Costco, Best Buy + other retailers)

Why do you want price adjustement at BF? It's obvious by now that the actual prices are gonna be BF prices.guallox wrote: ↑ Just bought the A80J at Costco today. A bit sad the 65" is OOS at costco.ca. Was waiting for the $350 back on $3000 spend again which is now live for BF.

This TV is in Flyers already $200 off more starting today and tomorrow. Best buy doesn't show the current sale as a Black Friday price so I am sure it will be $2399 tomorrow . I paid $2599. But after watching the first movie yesterday, this TV is worth the money well worth the $2600 even if they don't drop the price.

Leon's is already showing the $2399 price that is effective at Midnight. I'm waiting for BB to lower the price so I can use a gift card lol.guallox wrote: ↑ This TV is in Flyers already $200 off more starting today and tomorrow. Well, sony took it's sweet time and has been very discrete. The LG c1 is 2300$ since almost 2 weeks, 100$ cheaper than the a80j.guallox wrote: ↑ This TV is in Flyers already $200 off more starting today and tomorrow. I just placed my order for an a80j from Best Buy. They've finally dropped the price on it to $2399.
