Sony DSC-TX20 Waterproof/Shockproof/Dustproof digital camera - $149US @ B&H
B&H has a great price on a very rugged, versatile camera from Sony - $149US (regular $298):

This camera is waterproof, shockproof, and dustproof! I have a DSC-TX10 and it's a great second camera for vacation shooting, shooting in crappy weather, etc.

B&H also has a great shipping option which includes duties and taxes. I've purchased from them before and everything was great - would definitely buy from them again.
Also, for just a few dollars more ($168.95), they sell the same camera with an accessory kit (case and 8GB SD card):

How is the touch interface on these? that's the one thing that has stopped me from getting a touch screen camera.

Touch isn't ideal for an "extreme" camera like this, but it's definitely usable.
Big droplets on the screen can interfere with your presses, but a quick wipe and you're back in business.
However, if you're underwater, the touch screen controls wont' be usable at all.

Was debating between the black and the blue (orange already sold out or I probably would have got that one). I debated to long and the black sold out so I got the blue. $177 to my door in Canada. That is a HOT deal for this camera. I owned the TX5 (till my dog ate it) and it shot great pictures and underwater worked great! I was waiting for this camera to go on sale but didn't assume this good. Thanks OP!

Agreed, that orange one looked awesome. Too bad your last one didn't survive the dog!

I just returned the blue one for $149 and purchased the oranage one for $168 with the case and SD card. Came out to $20 more but I get the color I want and I will just sell the SD card locally for $10 so it wont be so bad. Look for a blue one to be available again or contact them directly and ask to purchase it.
