Sony hasn's said anything about their own batteries yet. Just Dell. I would think they should be replaced. Dell recalled 4.1 million laptops. That can't be cheap for Dell to do, unless they really think it's needed.

Are Sony laptops batteries recalled?
Anyone know? Trying to find out if viao laptop batteries are safe or not.
