Seen that image floating around the last 3 days. Good Photoshop that's for sure. As if Sony would ever put UMD in the PS3 ...

Heh, maybe by that time, UMD will replace DVD.

Still, if it were really, it would look pretty sexy.

Isn't UMD the format they r using for the PSP..I think it would be cool to have a cross platform compatability between the PSP and PS3..I read an article that there r whispers that something like that is a possibilty..Who knows only time will tell I guess

It looks nice, but using UMD's are so limited space. PS3 is suppose to be a powerful system, if the games are small, either it will be short with crazy graphics or longer with crappy graphic.
Heh, can't wait for PS3_______________

Games will be on blu-ray discs. It would be neat though if they somehow made it so that it could read the umd as well.

Yup those are good fakes. I've seen those at a few animation/vfx boards. Pretty good job modelling but the lighting/reflections is a dead give away because the artist was using free HDR maps to light the scene in 3ds Max or Maya. If you look closely at the round silver disc surrounding the UMD text you can see that he didn't use enough interations to make it round and you can see that its not perfectly circular and smooth.

The real PS3 will look much nicer than that.

Final PS3 Hardware to be more "POWERFUL" than E3 Demos?
An Interesting article that writes about comments that were made by SCEE Developement Boss Phil Harrison:

Blu-ray burners are probably going to cost a lot when they will first come out. I just hope PS3 will have harddrive "backup" support linked to allow a PC network connection.

Oh you want the games streamed via the 100Mbit pipe?

I love all the "info" Sony is putting out. There is almost no way they're gonna hit Spring for launch._______________
From a "Family" reviewer: "We Cheer teaches coordination, enticement to lust, women being used as sex objects, and team work."
From Worthy Playing: "We Cheer is, then, for all intents and purposes, the F-Zero GX of music games. It asks for so much, yet forgives so little. It is actually so casual that it's hardcore."
