Sony x930C or Samsung KS9000

Hi there
Need some help on which TV to get this weekend. I've had Sony for a long time and really like the natural picture however, I'm wiling to change to Samsung because of price.
Debating on a 65" Tv either Sony x930c for $2,999 + tax or Samsung 65KS900 for $3,100 tax in..
Both TV's look good but read some reviews on Sony about the TV being bent...

Thanks in advance.

If you can wait I would. ............ all the new tvs from ces should come out in a few months. Other wise I would go with an lg oled. Or go with the ks8000 which also comes with a free xbox one s bundle

Who is offering KS8000 with an xbox?

I also debating on an oled but their 65" is way too expensive.
OLED 55" is $2400. + tax

are you sure it's the X930C and not X930D.

The C is quite old. Almost 2 years.

If it's the D, go for it.

Of course OLED is better but if you really need 65. Sony is the safest bet. Unless you're a gamer. It has high input lag.

Ya sorry.. it is X930D...
So, I will be moving my 7 yr old Sony 55" to my bedroom and will need a new TV for the family room. I'm debating to go either with the LG OLED 55" B6 model (OLED 65" is still too expensive ) or a 65" (between Samsung 65KS9000 or Sony 65X930c for the TV room.
(70% of the time for movies and 30% for games (kids).)

Should I sacrifice quality over size?

If you want my opinion for what it's worth, you should wait a bit longer before buying a TV like this. At least one year. There is no HDR "standard" yet, and I expect OLED prices to come down now that more manufacturers are using them in their new TV lineups. Once the production ramps up on OLED the price will come way down. I can tell you want "the best", and I think waiting a bit would do a lot of good for you.

Also, what about the Vizio M series? Aren't they supposed to be quite good?

That looks pretty good to me. $1000 cheaper.

What is your room viewing condition?

Is it very bright?

OLED shine in controlled lighting room or dark room.

For game they are amazing and the B6 has a good input lag at 28ms. Samsung has the best input lag however.

Do you watch regular cable TV on it?

I have both the ks 8000 and lg e6 oled. The ks8000 is a good tv however I don't recommend in rooms with lots of windows or very bright rooms as I've noticed glare .. hdr on the ks8000 is good but the oled is way better .... the samsung uses edgelit backlight which can ruin hdr dark scenes. The samsung is awesome for gaming.... good input lag and you don't have to worry about image retention/burn in like the oled. If I was you I would either wait or if you must buy now I would buy a cheap tv and wait for the 2017 model to come out..... sony and panasonic both have oleds coming out..... the sony uses an lg panel but has a sony processor which means it will outshine the lg oleds in motion. The current samsung led 2016 models all have quality control issues so if you buy make sure you pay with a credit card that doubles manufacturer's warranty or buy an extended warranty.
