So is it cheaper to buy from Clove than local?
Is it because pounds are low?

What about warranty?

It's price cheaper in the UK and also because the pound is low.

You get 2 years but you have to ship it to the UK.

Before i got it, it only says on it's way to Toronto. It now shows:
12/10/16 18:24 DELIVERED CANADA
12/10/16 12:15 UNDELIVEREDNOT AT ADDRESS, OFFICE CLOSED CANADA
10/10/16 21:08 ARRIVED IN COUNTRYTORONTO CANADA TORONTO CANADA
07/10/16 AM ON ITS WAY TOTORONTO CANADA CANADA
Thanks for response! It only took 2 days for you to get yours delivered from being shipped overseas. Mine has left the UK on October 12th, and has been in Canada ever since. I wonder what's the hold up.

Red & White Flag…
Got my Xperia XZ yesterday! Didn't get a chance to fully set up yet, but feels great.
If it's not free, it's too expensive...

Got Roxfit Tempered glass proctector today from Clove, sadly it cracked before I could even take the protective film/backing from it.

Other than screen size, any issues?

Will UK purchased phones that are used in Canada still get Android updates from Sony? I'm asking as I've never owned a non Nexus phone, and the XZ isn't sold by my Canadian carrier.

Nothing so far, the screen is a bit too small when I take pictures and show to my customers (construction).
No clue on Android updates, but apparently XZ and X performance were supposed to get Nougat update as one of the first Sony's.

I don't know if you can get updates over the air (since I don't do OTA updates), but you can download (and archive) the latest official ROMs from Sony using third party tools, such as http://www.flashtool.net/index.php

I got my XZ Premium from Amazon.com last month. I like it a lot and Sony is now very quick in pushing out software updates. Battery life is fair and comparable to the S8+ or the U11.

Amazon.com Sony Store ships to Canada too so there's no need to wait.

I must say the SIM tray/hybrid tray is very flimsy...

Sony Xperia XZ Premium’s fingerprint sensor will be disabled in Canada

https://mobilesyrup.com/2017/08/11/sony ... ed-canada/
I thought that's a given since Sony doesn't want to pay for some patents or something in both the US and Canada.
