BS. NCIX only has the Audigy SE, and even that is more expensive. This is the STANDARD Audigy card, not the lower-end Audigy SE.

The Audigy SE is a software card, plain and simple. It is barely an upgrade from onboard sound.

The regular Audigy, on the other hand, has the EMU10k which supports hardware decoding of AC3 (Dolby Digital) and DTS, has hardware EAX and native ASIO support, among other features which can be enabled by the use of "unofficial" drivers.
