Dang I just want a smooth transition. Hope I can live on 100mb a month, I swear most of my activity is background data - Is there any way I can eliminate that?

I went to the Speakoutwireless forum to seek help. Found a new post about changing the APN to either rogers-core-appl1.apn or apn-internet.com and remove everything else (proxy, port, username, pw etc.), switched on data and no connection after more than 10 minutes.

I went to Rogers FAQ and found the same information (SO uses Rogers network).

When I use internet to check my account, it says the 100 min + 500 MB data plan is activated.

Will try again tomorrow morning.

I had the same problem. What worked for me was turning off the phone and reinserting the sim card.

I just added the $10/100MB 2 days ago and have already used up 79MB. That was mostly just light surfing/twitter/reddit and Instagram. I think I watched 1 video through the reddit app. 100MB is definitely not going to cut it for me.

Is the Wind $30 unlimited data plan the best option out there at the moment?

On my Nexus 4, go to settings, data usage, and when you click the app, you can check "restrict background data".
We're all bozos on the bus until we find a way to express ourselves...

Failure is always an option...just not the preferred one!

As long as Wind`s network is sufficient for you then yes.

My uwb is working fine but I noticed the voice component is not working. I tried calling my cell # from a landline and I get a dial tone like the phone # has been disconnected. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?
