Speakout Data on Blackberry
Hey guys, was wondering if anyone had any tips/tricks (like the Android thread) for getting apps to work on BBs. I just signed up for the unlimited browsing to see what Speakout can do, and so far it's only basic browsing.
Anyone know of any ways to get at least some of the apps like Maps, BBM, or Email working?
Cheers!

Well I guess I'm experimenting with BBs on my own here.
I'll just update this thread for anyone who might be on the same boat, or wondering if BBs will work with Speakout browsing.
Browsing works perfectly, no need to tweak any settings
Weather Network app works great, updates automatically
Haven't found a way to get BBM, Maps, any Google apps, email to work.

There are a bunch of BB sites:
www.crackberry.com
www.blackberryforums.com
and http://www.port3101.org/ specifically for BES matters.
If you can't find your answer there, it must be completely unknown.

If anyone comes up with a method of getting BB stuff to work through the unlimited browsing, I'd love to know too...
Android is "ok" but I'd much prefer to be able to use my BB....

Thread revival but it's not possible to use BBM or any RIM apps since speakout doesn't have subscription for bb specific data. No subscription means no access to RIM servers and there's no way around that

that's unfortunate.
My Rogers BB contract is ending next week and I was hoping to use my 9700 in Speakout or Petro Mobile

Opera Mini
When I had an 8310, with basic data. I was able to use Opera Mini to browse the web. The stock browser wouldn't work because I didn't have a proper data package. But Opera Mini worked. Not sure if they plugged up that hole.
