speedtest different on 2 laptops in same house?
I ran Speedtest on my Bell internet connection, my year old IBM thinkpad measured ~3000 kb/sec and my wife's HP (new) measured ~4200 kb/sec. Both of these are using wireless connections to our central 54 Mb router.
Any suggestions to make IBM's faster, in the past I have clocked 4300 on the IBM ? We are located in Vaughan.

open up more tcp/ip ports? I think thats what it is. Other things could be quality of the wireless card, firewalls, vista/xp, specs etc
