250 pounds a day?
What a heck do you plan on doing? I spent a week in France (Paris/Cannes) and Monaco last summer and spent nowhere near that amount.
We did buy our own groceries. Stuff is not that expensive. Breads are around a euro, brae cheese 1.50-3 euros for 450g, sliced deli chicken turkey 1euro/100grams. Sandwiches and such on the street run around 5-7 Euros. McDonalds meals are 5-10 euros. Single subway ticket in Paris was 1.60. It gets cheaper if you buy packs/weekly passes for zones.
I will be going to London/Paris next week again and have nowhere near that budgeted daily.
We got an excellent hotel in the Latin quarter by Notre Dame for $110/night on 17th/18th of March.
Last year we stayed at a place on Amsterdam Street for $70/night. Nice/clean place .. right in front of a subway station and steps away from a market. We walked everywhere else and was at reasonable distance.

And if you get the Oyster Card to travel around the metro is is cheaper. You will get your three pound deposit back when you return the card too!

What are you asking? Is it an easy trip to Monaco from Spain? Where in Spain? From Paris? You can fly or take a train. Neither are a day trip if that is what you are asking. Have a good look at the map of Europe, it should give you a fairly good idea of distances.

Yah neither will be a day trip, I will likely go to barcelona for a few days and then on to morocco... I will have a few extra days remaining with nothing really planned (3 days to be exact!) hence the thought of Morocco or is that to short of a timespan?

Spain is a bit cheaper than England or France, if you're budgeting costs.

I am not sure what kind of train goes from Spain to Monaco. Worst comes to worse, you would go to Cannes/Niece and then from there take a train to Monaco. Cannes - Monaco was a 55min train ride mainly because their train stopped quite often along the way and was about 15eu return to Cannes. Paris - Cannes was a 5hr ride with their speed train and the ticket was 125EU return.
If you do have those 3 extra days with nothing planned, I would stop by Cannes, and then take one day to hit up Monaco.

OK, Monaco or Morroco? Not exactly in the same direction. Did you take my advice and look at a map?

There's a night train from Barcelona to Nice. I've met a few people who were planning on doing that so I know that that option exists.

If you're flying from Barcelona to Morocco, you can spend three days in Casablanca or one of the imperial cities (Rabat, Meknes, Fes, or Marrakech) but that's about it. Marrakech is the most popular. If you're taking the ferry from Spain though, forget it. The country is too big and transportation too slow to get from the port of Tangier to the imperial cities and back in three days. And Tangier is not a city where you want to stay for three days. I've been to Marrakech and it was pretty fun but very crazy, to put it mildly.

Don't spend much money on food in London. Food is over-priced in London too. Maybe just drink beer all of the time.
Spend food money in Paris.

Lots of places to eat in London. Pubs are always good. Food is not that expensive in relation to all other things British.
One thing on Pub etiquette in England. If you wan to socialize you must stand or sit at the bar. People who sit down want to be by themselves or with the group they are with. Standing or sitting at the bar is open invitation to socialize.
