In a local flyer today I saw an advertisement for the Spice House (820 Denison, Markham), and it has a $6.99 special for all you can eat Indian Buffet dinner. Has anyone been here before? It says the price is a grand re-opening special, but I'm still a little hesitant on the cheap price.

It's probably not buffet...probably a hot plate. Fill up one plate and get out.

^^
I went for that $6.99 buffet and it was crap! No service and the place looked dumpy tbh.
India's Taste (down the road @ 680 Denison) has a better buffet for $11.99. Try that instead OP.

Best Buffet in that area is India's Taste - it's on Denison as well. I think it's also one of the better ones in the GTA.

Is this the same place as "Chuahans" or something along those lines? I've discovered The Indian Kitchen at Clark/Yonge after never having been there. They're food is good (I've never tried the buffet but they do have one). Prices are $10-17 a dish on average but the food is very good/fresh.

Chauhan's is more like a downtown Toronto style Indian restaurant ($$$) in Markham, whereas India's Taste and Spice House are buffet-oriented and have lower prices. When I went to Spice House, they didn't have a few dishes I came to expect at an Indian buffet, so I was not very impressed. Never tried The Indian Kitchen...maybe next time.

I went to spice house yesterday. It was what you would expect from a $7 lunch. Not great, and didn't make me sick.
