There are reports of errors with the 1TB drive. I'm not sure if the 750 is prone to this problem as well.

I'm waiting a bit until the problems get smoothed out and then I'm definitely grabbing a couple of these.

Actually, all of Samsung's F1 line is based on the 334gb/platter design.

There are reports of errors with the 1TB drive. I'm not sure if the 750 is prone to this problem as well.

WD has an answer to the F1 drives... they released a 320gb/platter drive... but the model is going to stay the same... (AAKS) but the part # will be different: 00B3A0

AFAIK, wlee is correct, only the 1TB drives use that platter size. The 750s are 3x250GB, and as such, they are on average 20MBps slower at writing than the 1GB F1.

WOw, the E8400 is selling like hotcakes. Many stores are out of stock. Good thing I bought it a week after it was released. Maybe I should sell mine and get a Q9300 or Q9450 when they come out.

How do you figure? That very same chart shows that it is beaten in almost every benchmark (including all reading and writing) by the ST3750330AS, WD7500AAKS and WD7500AYYS.

don't matter, it's 20MB/s slower than 1TB F1 and 10MB/s slower than 7200.11, i want a F1 1TB they are 50% faster than my WD 1TB

Hey guys! On Anitec.ca they don't mention anything about the warranty of the samsnug HD (750 GB). It tells me to check the manufacturing website for warranty info. Well, I went to the websit and there are only 2 HD there - http://www.samsung.com/ca/consumer/s...&subtype=hdd35.
