There are reports of errors with the 1TB drive. I'm not sure if the 750 is prone to this problem as well.
I'm waiting a bit until the problems get smoothed out and then I'm definitely grabbing a couple of these.

AFAIK, wlee is correct, only the 1TB drives use that platter size. The 750s are 3x250GB, and as such, they are on average 20MBps slower at writing than the 1GB F1.
There's something called "short stroking" of platters, meaning part of a platter is, in a manner of speaking, disabled.

Samsung 750 GB
The samsung F1 is still the fastest 750GB drive on the market. Here is a Chart comparing it to all the other drives.

E8400
WOw, the E8400 is selling like hotcakes. Many stores are out of stock. Good thing I bought it a week after it was released. Maybe I should sell mine and get a Q9300 or Q9450 when they come out.

Hey guys! On Anitec.ca they don't mention anything about the warranty of the samsnug HD (750 GB). It tells me to check the manufacturing website for warranty info. Well, I went to the websit and there are only 2 HD there - http://www.samsung.com/ca/consumer/s...&subtype=hdd35.
Thanks.
