These are pretty much the cheapest decent court show you can get, even at regular price.

I use 'em for squash.

As others have said, they are a volleyball shoe, and while decent, they do not offer the same quality of lateral support. For badminton and squash, on a level more than beginner i would suggest another shoe. These rockets are essentially a runner with gum sole. Many in the asics line are ideal for badminton and squash. Also Yonex, Victor have some great options around this price point. I started playing squash with these, as I got a similar deal - actually $35 for the orange Rocket 6's, but i've since moved to Salming shoes for squash. Pricier, but oh so nice.

If anyone wants recommendations, and a great price / discount code on court shoes, please inbox me, i'd be glad to help out!

What's a good price for Yonex?

These shoes are volleyball shoes. They can be used for badminton but they don’t have the lateral support that a good badminton shoe offers.
Thanks. Ended up buying this one with lifestyle code for slightly more, for badminton.

GTEH!
Back in the day when I played Volleyball, Asics was THE brand for Volleyball indoor court shoes.
These are decent for Volleyball. Not sure about badminton, as I don't play.
Mizuno now makes some very good Volleyball shoes. The Canadian National Men's Volleyball Team wears Mizuno shoes.

As someone who suffers from chronic ankle instability (ankle sprains easily) I have been looking for something like this for a while.

For playing a sport like indoor ball hockey, would the Yonex Men's SHB 55 Indoor Court Shoes be better than ASICS Men's Gel Rocket 7 ?

Lateral support and protection around the toe areas are important factors for me (so fewer ventilation areas the better).

I find Yonex badminton shoes too narrow. Will look into this. But if it's more for volleyball, it may not be suitable.

Starting tomorrow, buying GCs over $200 at SDM, gets you 10,000 Optimum points (the 2000, plus 8000 bonus).

thanks!

i was going to ask if any of the SHB 03, SHB 55, Aerus, or SHB 75 is considered to be a wider shoe?

EDIT: nvm only the SHB03 has 10.5's left...
