[Sport Chek] [IN STORE ONLY] Bauer supreme s160 senior

Sport check has some online deals but this one seems in store only. They have Bauer supreme s160 senior old model on sale for 119. I saw them in Richmond and Metrotown locations. Limited sizes available.
I saw CCM 3052 and 3092 for the same price there too.

Blocked because of affiliate link.

FYI, Sports Experts (Sportcheck in Quebec) has these skates on sale/clearance for $129.99 ($199.99 regular price). But only a couple of stores have them in stock and I assume the sizes are limited.

I mentioned it is store location specific. Here in Vancouver we have at least 2 locations with this deal.
Here is invoice. You can see me returning Bauer Vapor X300, buying Bauer supreme s160 + blade protections and paying difference.

Your post also doesn't say what they are. It could have been a stick or something else.

I think you did not buy S160 you bought 160 which were last years model. They were 229 though. S160 are yellow inside on the back and 160 are black. Also the receipt says Supreme 160.

Don't try to help or correct OP, he'll just downvote you.

Also, for what it's worth, the S160 is not a skate I would recommend for someone that is going to be blocking pucks shot by adults.

As a casual skating or shinny hockey skate, sure it will do the job. If protection of the bones in your foot is a priority, I would step it up to the S180 at the minimum

There is no skate that feels good taking a puck off the foot bud. I use APX2 skates and had my foot broken with a shot.
If you're worried about it then you should just get the skate guards for blocking shots.

The top eyelets on the Bauer Supremes are weak! The will split within 6 months. I got One.7 and One.8, some issue. And I don't tie the skate tight.
But they are good skates.

Oh I know. However I've worn enough high, mid, and low end skates to know that the composites on the upper end skates are protecting my foot better than the polyurethane uppers of the mid-level. (Without shot blockers of course)
