yes...for those that say it doesn't are lying. There has to be some sort of physical attraction (unless you're visually impaired obviously). Looks get you there and personality keeps you there.

I don't know how good their sale is going to be this year, but whatever it is the parking situation they have going on at their store north of Yonge and Eglinton makes that area into a complete disaster. They really need to rework that entire exit/entrance so that it doesn't back up traffic on Yonge street for a couple of miles every time they have a sale.

for anyone who plans to go (to the Yonge Street store) and has never been before, here's what to expect:

-get there really early and find parking on the side streets somewhere
-dress warm (earmuff, gloves, etc) as there will be a line that wraps around the store and onto the side street
-they will let blocks of ppl into the store at a time. once inside it will be complete madness.
-this is not the time to hem and haw. just grab your TNF in your size and move on. there will be stuff all over the place, on the floor, on diff racks as people are animals ;)
-there will be another line that snakes through the store. this is to check out. it will move slow .
-there are no refunds, this is a final sale (at least it was 2yrs ago) so ask before slapping the card down and make a split decision if you want that jacket or not

godspeed!

anyone been to the Sporting Life at Sherway before for boxing day?
do they group the mens and womens jackets together on the bottom floor or do we have to run upstairs to see the womens selection?

Not sure, but I saw plenty of women on the first floor with the guys going through the North Face.

that location is insanity during boxing day... also it's a free for all at opening time, the fastest athletic runners are those who win the best deals (of the few remaining). some really good deals though, if you can get them that is...
