SportingNews Fantasy Hoops - SEASON 2 STARTING!!!
It's bball season again and I started a SportingNews.com league for all you folks. Everyone is welcome, the more the merrier.
I see that there's already a Yahoo league but the sportingnews league is for the more passive managers. You don't need to set your roster every other day...although it is advised that you make a couple trades every other week just to keep up with the hot players. I hope everyone who joined last year's NBA playoff pool would join again!
league name: rfd
no passwrord
good luck!Last edited by hotwings; Feb 20th, 2005 at 11:57 PM.

Ya it's free, it's a different game than the Yahoo one though.

Okay, they fixed the search. You should be able to find the "rfd" league now.
http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/hoops/home.html
again, password is "rfd" without quotes.
mingcourt, you want the Basic Salary Cap Hoops. That's the free one.
TIP to new players, it's important to pick some undervalued players especially in the beginning of the season when there are lots of sleepers. Once they gain enough dollar value, you can trade the player for more legitimate stars. Watch the nba schedule... sometimes a team would play 4 games in a week instead of the regular 2-3! That means players on that team would have a higher chance to score more points for your team.

Just noticed there are two leagues called "rfd". I was sitting in the wrong one for the longest time...
It appears there are only 3 of us so far...possibly other people have made the same mistake..?

WooHoo! Welcome back Grant Hill! He's currently trading at only $540,000! I recommend you guys pick him up if you haven't already. He's hugely undervalued.
Dwight Howard played very well too. Didn't force any shots and had 4 blks, 3 stls to go along with his double double.
