I have spotify but not the premium account. Should I hold off from subscribing after they have the GHM back in stock?

Clearly that doesn't work, queue pictures of walls of GHM's, like what happened in the states. Anyone who wants to "scam" the system has many accounts anway, this is hardly a hurdle for them. It's much easier to have a bunch of google accounts then it is to have a bunch of CC's or different addresses.

Thanks for the update, thread summary aside, it's spelled out right in the terms and conditions (which was linked in the OP), if it did work prior it's just YMMV as many got their ordered cancelled because of this.

Promotional codes cannot be used with Guest Checkout, so you must have a Google account and be signed-in to that Google account to redeem the Promotional Code and you will need to have or add a form of payment approved by Google at checkout.

They probably haven't gotten to yours yet. people wilth the estimated shipping date April 11 to 12 didn't received their shipping notice too

Normal..they probably got a huge back log to fullfill.

Consider yourself lucky that you were able to place the order. I know many people who signed up at 1 pm didn't even get a chance to place an order yet.

just recieved my GHM now. very fast shipping. ordered yesterday @ around 9am. very happy with getting free GHM with STACK free premium Spotify.
9.99x12=$119.88 spotify + $79 GHM = $198.88 free

It's out of stock when the offer link is updated to say out of stock. Spotify/Google can terminate the offer as they see wish but termination needs to be communicated as soon as it happens (else it would be a bait and switch campaign)

I just chatted with Google. They said to contact Spotify and Google cannot do anything. I'm just contacting Spotify now to cancel it. I already got one with my wife's account, so I'm good. I dont have time to be battling with the non-existent customer support at two billion dollar companies.

Edit: I'll give it a few days to see if Spotify responds to my initial inquiry from yesterday - I'm sure they are overwhelmed. Otherwise, I'll be asking to cancel under the 14-day refund policy.

I used the guest checkout. Any way to change this at this point to ensure I get the speaker. I could have logged in but coildent remember my password so I just used guest.

Actually when the biggest reported loot is 5 so far (with 5 different credit cards) and when people are resorting to selling the codes and not the actual product then this means it's working way more effective than any of the "free google mini bundle at BB" deals that was ever posted here.

Correct, that's why they are cracking down on both guest checkouts and multiple orders from different google accounts with the same CC.

Anyone registering using the link in the OP right now has more chances than those waiting for GHM to get stocked (as there is no guarantee promo would be still on by then).

Spotify hasnt responded to my initial inquiry from yesterday, so maybe theres a chance. I'll wait a few more days as I am sure they are overwhelmed with the stupidness of Google's checkout system and just reach out to them for a refund under the 14-day refund policy.
