use coupon code NEXUS10. Expires August 17.
Not sure if applicable to Canadian purchases but on ebay, squaretrade warranties also apply to US bought item by Canadian residents:

Can't wait to drop my future Nexus 7 if I find out any issues with the screen.
With squaretrade, I confirmed they will offer free shipping labels both ways to designated depots.

This is the email I got when inquiring about squaretrade warranties sold on ebay:
Thank you for contacting SquareTrade.
The claims services for both the US and Canadian customers are same. For items that are shippable, and that we think we can repair, we usually use centralized repair depots that specialize in repairing that specific item. We pay for shipping both ways, either by sending you a shipping label, or a whole shipping kit that includes packing material.
We don't use local repair shops for most claims, because it is easier for us to ensure quality repairs, and more cost efficient for us, to use a small selection of centrally-located repair facilities. Using these centralized depots allows us to maintain such high quality that we guarantee the work performed by any of these repair depots for 90 days!
If your item needs to be repaired and is too large to ship, such as televisions over 37", desktop computers, or major appliances, we will generally locate a qualified local technician who will be able to handle the necessary repairs. We'll usually send someone to your home to take a look, but we might ask you to bring the item to a local shop we select. Of course, we'll pay for the in-home visit or the shop repair. The exact technician we select will depend on the item and the type of issue.
For approved claims on any type of item, you also have the option to find your own repair, either with the manufacturer of your item or with a local repair center. That allows you to maintain control over the whole process, and select a technician you trust to take care of your item. If you ask us for this option, you'll have to pay for the repairs yourself, but we'll reimburse you for parts and labor up to the value of your warranty. Remember to call us to get your claim approved before you pay for any repairs.
Hope that answers your question! If not, go here to view the contract summary. You can also reply to this email or call 1-877-WARRANTY (1-877-927-7268) US & Canada only, 24/7.

I purchased a Square Trade warranty on my 27" IPS-S Korean monitor ebay purchase since I was told they'd more than likely just write a cheque if something goes wrong. I was happy about that so wouldn't mind picking up this warranty for my Nexus 7 but I wish I knew 100% this would cover my purchase from Staples in Canada. Maybe I'll call that number mentioned above tomorrow.

I don't know how Squaretrade can stay in business by offering extended warranties so cheap it ain't funny. They also offer the extended warranties at Costco after the 2nd year of Concierge is up

I was very much interested in this until I read some more from their support. Specifically for Canada,

and
http://squaretrade.force.com/support...e-for-purchase
Since I bought mine at FutureShop this disqualifies me. Too bad.

I called and the guy I talked to at Square Trade said they have partners up here in Canada like TigerDirect (going to assume maybe NCIX then as well), Costco, Source by Circuit City and of course, Ebay. I asked specifically about Staples and he said "no".
I'm not going to bother with this. Would have been nice but it doesn't look possible.
For the other person asking about the Ebay warranty on the Korean monitors; as long as it doesn't say it's refurbished or in some way defective, it's supposed to be covered. When I called them 2 months ago this is what they said and it was pretty much in line with what another guy on Overclockers.net mentioned when he contacted them (fingers crossed though as SquareTrade seems kind of unorganized in some regards!). I purchased the "new" Potalion (Pixel Perfect) as a result.
The SquareTrade call center is super fast for answering calls if anyone else wants to call in and ask about the Canadian warranties in case the guy I talk to got it wrong. 1-877-WARRANTY
