stained leather - can it be fixed?
I was looking at a used car and the leather had a fairly nasty stain. Is it possible to 'fix' leather, and if so, where can it be done and how much does it usually cost?
The stain was caused by a tire being put in the back seat (between the front and back seats on the floor) - but it clearly was dirty and it has left an imprint on the front of the back seat (you can read "Michelin"... )
I'm pretty sure it's stained right into the leather... so... I'm wondering if it's a permanent thing or if something like that could be repaired/fixed (if it can be fixed, I may be interested in the car...).
Thanks in advance!

Most leather stains can come out - I'd make it a condition of the sale, though.
If you want to be sure, an auto upholsterer can advise you. Google auto upholstery for your area and perhaps time an appointment for your next test drive...
