[Stapes] HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225DW All in One Mono Laser Printer $100-$25 coupon= $75. YMMV In Store Clearance!

Bought the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225dw all in one (print, scan, copy and fax) mono laser printer today. Found one brand new in box, in store at Staples. Cannot find it online so this is an in store only clearance deal. Price $100- $25 coupon ($25 off $75 coupon)= $75+$5 recycling fee+HST= $90.

HP Canada lists this printer for $440 CDN:
http://www8.hp.com/ca/en/products/print ... b=features

Staples USA is selling the printer for $330 USD:

Here's a pic of the receipt (with details in order to check stock):

I got 2 $25 off $75 a few months apart. I haven't made a purchase in years.

Anytime I have got coupons the fine print would state "does not apply to computers , etc " so lucky if you got one that applies to computers & electronics.

This deal sounds good for the price but for those needing specific features such as single pass duplex scanning you may want to consider the Brother printers mentioned in the refurbished thread, most specifically the L2740DW pretax which came to $135 for me . Printer was brand new as far as I could tell.
An awesome printer IMO.
Another lacking feature on a HP MFC8720 that I upgraded from (which had the slower double pass duplex scanning) was duplex scanning via the mobile app that Brother supports while HP didn't.
Single pass scanning can save you a ton of time if you deal with lots of double sided pages for electronic conversion.

The D in the product name of HP LaserJet printers imply that is does automatic duplexing.

Yes. Most printer manufacturers are pretty logical in their model naming, typical feature indicators are as follows:

d = duplex
n = network (usually RJ45)
w = wireless

For those looking in Vancouver, when I checked yesterday there were:

- 1 store demo model at Grandview, no box
- 1 open box at Seymour, the rep said it's likely a customer return
- 1 showing in stock at Park Royal, but rep couldn't find it so it maybe phantom stock
