Does the Easy rebate on the printer/fax replace the mail-in rebate, or are they stackable? (There's a $70 rebate form in the Staples Rebate Centre website.) I realize it's prolly one or the other but it's worth asking.

Thanks for the deal,
Is the MFC any good for university use? regular black & white printing, occasional document scanning, dont need colour printing, fax is a bonus, speed is not a real issue as need for uni printing, please advice.. I had a samsung ML2010 which broke..anyone can compare the 2?
I searched the net, mixed reviews...hard to decide.

I just bought it. If high speed is not an issue, it looks like a decent buy. Apparently it comes with a 1500 page starter cartridge. The 2500 page toner cartridges for this are a reasonable $50 at ca.buy.com, cheaper than Lexmark/HP toners. The scanner will be handy for schoolwork too, although not as handy as a flatbed which can scan books as well. I bought it for a small office environment where the fax will be used more frequently.

buying a chair without sitting in it first is like buying shoes without trying them on

I sat in that chair, it is okay. It will not fit everyone though. It is not very adjustable. More expensive chairs are more adjustable. This doesn't have any back or arm adjustments, so you are stuck with the lumbar and neck and arm support where they are. I think it has the same plastic handles and components as the two similar chairs at costco, for anyone who has tried those.Last edited by Loomy; Jun 26th, 2008 at 11:22 PM.

Bought this chair last September and it's the most comfortable thing I've ever sat in.... I can literally sit in this thing for the WHOLE day without feeling sore or anything - it's VERY VERY comfortable.
