On a related note, if you return an item that you purchased using coupons, do you regain the ability to use those coupons (since coupons can only be used once per account)?

That's silly of them, they must realize that they should cancel the order if they aren't going to honor the coupon code, not process it at the higher price.
Oh well, if it does get delivered at the wrong price, this is the policy:
"If you ordered through our catalogue or website, you can arrange to have us pick up your return – just call 1-877-360-8500 or send us an email. Delivery purchases that may contain personal information are to be returned to a store."

if you ordered it last nite, they deliver it next biz day, which is Mon. ... so you leave stooples to hold on to your oder for the wknd to decide what to do w/ it

they could either cancel the order, or process it w/o coupon added...

For those of you who had the orders cancelled, can you tell me how you knew?
I ordered before 6 pm yesterday. I got the normal confirmation e-mail. If I go to the website under my order history, I see the whole order(including discount). I haven't received an e-mail or a call indicating that the order is cancelled or will be charged at the higher(no coupon) rate.
Does it look like I will still get the order? I'll post here with updates if anything new happens

UPDATE: The guy just arrived, about 1 minute after I posted the question wondering if my order would come through. It looks like the coupon discount WAS applied. I made the order yesterday at about 5:30 local time(7:30 PM Eastern time)
