I tend not to respond to requests for coupons because by the time I figure out I don't need a coupon myself I don't know if the person who requested one already got it. I don't want to send a coupon to someone who no longer needs it. Also, if there's not much time left I want to be sure it gets used! It seems more productive to simply post when you have one available, and then give it to one of the people who PMs you--not necessarily the first. If a long-time member PMs you third, by all means give it to him. I don't have a problem with newbies, we were all new once, but if you want to get from us, why don't you try to give a little too . If your only posts have been to ask for coupons, personally I'm less inclined to give you one instead of someone who's been participating more actively.

For those looking for coupons, I suggest you pay attention to the expiry dates listed when people say they have one. Coupons seem to be sent out in batches. The ones I've gotten expired on Tuesdays, and I often get a new one on the day after: Wednesday (especially if I've used it or given it to someone who has! A good reason to make sure your coupon gets used!). Some people know they don't need anything and offer their coupons early, which is nice, but I notice a lot of people only give them up on the last day. So be sure to check back on the expiry dates (Tuesdays?) when people may be giving them away at the last minute.
