Most people will not get this, since several cellphones nowadays have at least 720p recording. If you don't want your $700 Samsung Galaxy SIII knocked to the ground by an irate movie star, this JVC Picsio GC-FM2 pocket camcorder may suit your needs. Spotted at the Staples near Metrotown in Burnaby for $29.97. Reviews on Amazon.com are mixed however. Audio is mono and viewfinder is too small, since touch controls take up a lot of space on the 3 inch LCD screen. So-so video quality. No charger provided. I might return the open box I purchased in haste.

If you prefer the waterproof model (GC-WP10) instead of this unit, there's one on clearance for $109.99 at the Future Shop near Metrotown Centre in Burnaby, BC.
