I just picked up a 2 pack of Lexar 8GB S70 jumpdrives (2 x 8GB) for $12 at Wal-Mart.

Are they faster or more reliable than the Kingston? $12 is more than buying two of the Kingstons ($4.92 each).

you should just go to bestbuy and grab the 16g usb 3.0 lexar drives. also $12

Actually, $12.99 for the 16GB and $13.99 for the 8GB - both USB3.0

Yep! but at 28 MB/s (Read); 10 MB/s (Write), even with 15 synchronous, you'll only get 150MB/s throughput where SSD can do around 500MB/s. Those are the USB3.0 lexars
