you should just go to bestbuy and grab the 16g usb 3.0 lexar drives. also $12

Yep! but at 28 MB/s (Read); 10 MB/s (Write), even with 15 synchronous, you'll only get 150MB/s throughput where SSD can do around 500MB/s. Those are the USB3.0 lexars
