Staples: Return and Buy Back with Gift Cards?

I want to buy this chair from Staples. It's on sale until the 24th. I have a ton of air miles so I want to get some gift cards from them in order to get the chair, but I don't know if I will get them by the 24th. If I buy the chair using cash before the 24th and get the gift cards after that, can I return it and buy it back at the same price using gift cards?

Doubt it. Just buy the chair and use your airmiles for something else.

Yes, you can do a change of payment at Staples with gift cards. Sometimes they may deny you if your purchase was made with online coupon codes (delivery order). Depends on the store and CSR so if it fails, go to another store.
