Terrible character who doesn't need to be revisited.

Not a favourite of mine either but IIRC the only guest character to get two TOS episodes

One of the reasons a far past nemesis series could of been cool. Less temptation to bring in cameos :)

The more leaks that come out, the less I want to watch it.

What's the point of bringing in an obscure annoying character? It's not to appease the die hard fans, seeing as they completely "reimagined" Kingons.

Good, bad or ugly I'm still gonna watch in OTA HD when the first episode hits CTV

The official site finally confirms Sonequa Martin-Green as First Officer Michael Burnham

Last night's Talking Dead confirmed it before CBS but the character name is definitely new and interesting
Your link is being redirected by RFD to the Star Trek Shop

She gives us a vague sense of what Trekkers can expect in a recent interview...
http://tvline.com/2017/04/03/star-trek- ... interview/
“This iteration of Star Trek is going to have a different take than the others in the Star Trek canon,” she says. “It’s going to be bigger, rawer and grittier… and the story’s going to build on itself. It’s going to be a tremendous journey.”

“Since Star Trek has always been through the eyes of the captain,” she suggests, “to be coming from [his second-in-command’s] mindset is going to be refreshing and challenging in ways that are very thrilling.”

New Trek show premiere pushed back to May 2017

Still no premiere date announced.

In an interview with Vulture, CBS Interactive president Marc DeBevoise said that, despite the show’s pivotal role in the launch of All Access original programming, there was no pressure to focus on a precise premiere date.
