I go for the bigger items such as hot toys, looking for the mid sized spin master bb8, sphero r2, and Poe black series helmet.

I prefer sh figuarts over black series. Hasbro has terrible paint jobs and you have to factor in the fact that Bandai uses that 3D digital print technology for their 1:12 scale figures. I'm getting a third Kylo Ren this time only for the Adam Driver head sculpt. He looks slimmer this time around and seems to have ditched the cape.

I do have some figuarts as well, and yes. They are more detailed compared to black series, however it was on sale for $30 so I picked it up.

Just wished their qui-gon jinn wasn't web exclusive. He's harder to find at a decent price.

Fans critical of the Force Awakens unoriginal narrative are understandably worried that the box art of Kylo Ren's custom starfighter model kit from Last Jedi features the Death Star in the background

I'm hoping it's just lazy marketing

What a cool magazine cover!

I swear Luke's mechanical hand looks different every time I see it. At the end of "The Force Awakens" it immediately reminded me of Anakin's mechanical hand at the end of "Attack of the Clones" during his wedding to Padme on Naboo.

Apparently the second TFA trailer wasn't until October, so why "should have dropped by now?"

Trailer tail end of October, tagged to Thor: Ragnarok in theatres?

Yeah, that sounds like good timing and corporate synergy. To be honest, I would be fine with just the one trailer they released already. Anyone invested in SW will already know the basic storyline (Rey trains with Luke to become a Jedi, the First Order continues its offensive, the Resistance continues to resist, etc.), so it would be nice to watch the movie with just that knowledge and see how things unfold.
