I've been going through some "William Spartivento" from Costco.ca. It is nothing great, and I would rate it as "fair", or 6 out of 10.

Slow pour?
Question:
My latest coffee beans drain really slow from the spout. I am not sure if this is a good or bad thing?
Can this be adjusted and if so, how? I see the controller where you put the beans and have switched it while its working BUT not sure its doing anything different?
Thanks

I think this should be the RFD official coffee thread
Just bumping it as no one has posted anything in eons.
I am still enjoying the PC stuff (the Espresso and the Dark Roast). Dollar for dollar, it is some of the best, most consistent coffee I have ground/enjoyed with the 4400. I just came back from Vermont and brought some Green Mountain roasted beans. Pretty good as well.
One thing I do not like about the 4400 is the inconsistent temperature of the shots. One moment I have hot and the next, I have luke warm. I have tried to remedy this by running a rinse cycle before creating a shot but I still find the shots somewhat inconsistent. It would be just my unit. I'm going to check the warranty and explore getting an RMA/replacement just for fun. In any case, after a year, I am still extremely happy with this machine and I could now move on to an enthusiast box with a decent intro education. I think I just might do that

Starbucks doesn't sell any expresso makers at all anymore. Too bad...mine just died off so if anyone is willing to sell one then let me know.
