How To Participate
- SHOP
Purchase qualifying Starbucks® item(s) between March 13, 2017 and May 7, 2017, and star/check the item(s) and the date on your receipt.
- SNAP
Snap a clear photo of the entire receipt with your mobile device or phone.
- SEND
Email your photo to rewards@starbucksgiftcard.ca. Please allow 48 hours for processing.
- REGISTER
After your photo is submitted, you will receive an automatic confirmation and request to complete a registration form.

I think the cheapest ones are sold at $11 each at Walmart, so buy $22+tax to save only $5 :(
Buying at Starbucks stores will likely cost even more.

Don't know if purchases from the Starbucks online store would qualify but from the T & C's :

"any retailer (with the exception of Costco and
Starbuck’s cafes)"

Save-on-Food have the 340g Sumatra (maybe ymmv) on sale for $7.99, so it's $16 plus tax and you get $5 gift card.
