I didn’t get any email about this. I’m guessing it is targeted.

Definitely targeted. My wife got the email, and the only email I got was a 50 star dash for 5 purchases within 2 days.

is anybody else sick of reading a great deal title only to get disappointed again when they get to the word [Targeted]? this happens at least once a week.

Yes.. I don't see the need to post targeted offers. If you're targeted you get an email about it.

Targetted deals always get side tracked by these discussions about whether or not they should be posted as a hot deal. As long as OP is indicating in the title that it is YMMV or targetted, what more can you ask for? As has been mentioned many times in these threads, not everyone that gets these targetted offers is aware of it - for instance, if they don't open all their emails or the email ends up in the spam folder. I have not been aware of several offers that I was targetted for until I saw it posted on RFD and went back and opened the email or checked my junk mail.

Just because you don't get the offer does not mean its not a hot deal. It may not be for you but thats why OP has clearly indicated it is targetted.

Thanks OP. Upvoted.

They always have this deal and it's always for random users. I appreciate it because I have 5 accounts so it's worth it to check them all.

I got the offer.

I appreciate the thread because I may not check my e-mail. Or if it's targeted I can ask if someone I know may have received it even if I did not.

Plus, I tend to forget e-mails. If I see it here I'm more likely to remember.

A huge majority of "hot deals" are extremely YMMV; such as all clearance deals (Costco, Staples, WalMart, etc.) or even region specific. Heck you could live in the middle of nowhere and thus most deals are irrelevant to you.

Can you use "offer #2" to trigger "offer #1"?

That's what I'm wondering as well. I have no idea. But I'll try it out today and see what happens. Good thing is offer 1 doesn't expire until 7/8.

Only got Offer #2. Ordered Double Shot on Ice (5 espresso shots by default!).
Forgot that macchiato counts as espresso, would have ordered that instead.
Oh well, next time. Thanks OP!
