Yup. 9 out of 10 business fail within the first 5 years, and another 9 out of 10 of those that pass the 5 year mark, fail within 10 years. The odds are definately against you, BUT I believe you can dramatically lessen those odds with proper research and planning.

I think the perfect business for a student or anybody really, is something that requires little to no overhead, and that can be operated right out of your house or anywhere.

as scary as it sounds those stats are almost exact. to startt eh business its all about research, research, research. but thats not all the public would have to have a demand for your product(s) and location where traffic would be alot.
