Starting up, post your links!
Cool! New forum!
Anyway, I'm really interested in starting my own business, but I don't know anything about entrepeneurship.
It'd be great if we can list all the "n00bie's guide to starting your business" links here, including tax management and registration... and helpful marketing and organisation tips!

Once you choose English or French, there are links at the bottom for province-specific additional information.

Hi,
What kind of business were you thinking about? Is it gonna be a summer business? Are you a student? I'm asking because I'm looking into doing the same in Montreal.

You may be interested in taking a quick seminar on business. I attended Andrew's session and found him quite informative and inspiring. Before taking one of the classes you may want to hear Andrew or one of the other trainers speak. Refer to the BizSeminar section, they are free. This will give you an idea what it's all about.

I already started my business when I attended the seminar so I didn't get as much out of it as I hoped. The course content also list a number of excellent topics that were discussed but only very briefly.

Registering your business
Cyberbahn would probably be a cheaper choice for registering your business.
