Startup Company as foreigner in Canada

Hey everyone,

I am new on this forum, my name is Peter, 28 years old and living in the Netherlands. I want to thank you first for your time.
The reason I write a post on this forum is because I have some questions about starting a business in Canada.

In the Netherlands I have a number of webshops. These webshops run well and that is why I want to expand myself on the North American market. Of course there are rules for doing this.

For example, I can not just build a webshop and start selling. I probably have to be a resident of Canada. PayPal for the Canadian market requires a business address in Canada.

The goal is of course to move to Canada. I am a bit tired of living in Europe.

What should I pay attention to and what should I do.

Who can help me?

Thank you in advance,

Peter

Marijuana business? :)

You don't have to be a Canadian resident to start a business here, but there are various federal and provincial incorporation requirements about having a Canadian presence. You may need a Canadian partner or director with a Canadian address. You can also incorporate a Canadian subsidiary of a foreign corporation if you have one.
