Staying at School
How much does it cost every year to stay on-campus? Does the cost increase every year or if you move on to higher levels of studying?
Haven't done this before so just curious.

You shouldnt be asking this here. All information can be found on your school's website regarding cost. Your going to get inaccurate figures here...

cost will vary by schoool, and in some cases by the residence building that you are staying in. Some residences require a meal plan, others do not - this also affects the cost.
To the best of my knowledge, the cost is the same for all students (regardless of their year of study).

You shouldn't be staying on campus after first year. I found the biggest weirdos in rez were the ones who lived there for a few years...

Why not? I had the best year ever living on campus.
Why shouldn't anyone try to prolong it?

Living off-campus is generally cheaper... Waterloo's tuition does decrease slightly for each successive term at an amount that's barely noticeable.

Adulthood doesn't come with a meal plan

For generic programs, the tuition fees may stay constant or go up by a little due to inflation and other factors. For trade and professional programs, tuition fees usually vary each year, it might be cheaper in year 1, and a bit more in y2, and bit less in y3, etc. But, you should be able to find all these information on the corresponding institution's program page.
