I never noticed this before but you can buy steam gift cards at EB games, best part is you can buy a $50 Gift card in Canadian funds and it's worth $50 US. You get the exact same currency rate.

So Instead of getting dinged the exchange rate plus a few extra points by my credit card company I can save 6-7% buy buying a steam gift card and still not pay the tax. Plus I can get that extra 3% cash back rewards on my credit card. So 13% HST + 3% cashback + 6-7% exchange rate means I just saved about 22% of my new game purchases.

Maybe it's not new, but it's the 1st time I ever noticed it, I had an old giftcard from Xmas that I was planning on using. I bought a steam gift card instead with it
