Isn't Overload 2 less than 1 year old? Whoa, the price dropped FAST on that game.

No interest in Crysis though, I don't support activation DRMs. Unless both games were less than $5 together, then maybe.

For those of us who don't know squat about DRM would it be better to buy the game retail or buy it through steam.. or for all intents and purposes they're the same product (for protection).

I just want to install crap on my new PC if I can avoid it.

I really want to buy Crysis and don't really care how much I pay as long as I'm getting the best product.

Both versions have SecuROM. Steam also has Steam's DRM, but I actually find it to be a positive. I always have Steam running anyway and it lets you re-download whenever you want. Also cheaper in this case.

Okay, Steam it is then. I just hope there are some good sales tonite at NCIX so I can think about building a new PC to support Crysis.

Ugh isn't Steam's DRM enough for Crysis? I have no time to play it anyway, nor do I have a PC sufficient to run it.

I don't think DRM would stop even the most least motivated pirate.

imo, copy protection shouldn't even exist.

steam doesnt control what drm developers link to their product, clearly they try to get them to just use steam activation but there are some games on there with securerom also, blame the developer.

I bought the overlord package it's a good deal, if i wanted to play Crysis(I don't) I would get it off the internet with the drm removed.

The Overlord collection for $10 is a good deal - I’d recommend picking this up. They’re not the greatest of games, but certainly worth wasting some time in & running around controlling evil things.

I just picked up the second game today b/c of the sale here, but I bought the first when it came out a few years ago. Either way, if the mixed reviews put you off just buy the first one for a whole $2 instead of your Tim Hortons today & give it a try.
