Sigh...time to take out my wallet and never play any of them.

Site will be unresponsive and prices may appear incorrect at first, as Steam always has issues with servers when their major sales start so may need to wait. Also occasionally a chance to find a price glitch.

EDIT: I think their site crashed as of 1:03 PM EST, as I am seeing 502 Bad Gateway right now.

Honestly, at this stage the initial site crash is just part of the tradition. Welcome to the summer sale folks!

Will check in a few hours when people can actually see the sale. Brief glimpse I got was of DMC5 getting knocked down 35%. Elsewhere business as normal. AC Odyssey at 50% off so no great deals there.

Without the deep, deep discounts its pretty much just another sale at this point, albeit one with a gimmick or two.
Steam: Sir Boors
PSN: Sir_Boors

It's a great time to be a nerd.

the point of trying to check early is to catch price errors and get them for that error price lol

Yes, but it's a Uplay title. Uplay gave it out for free back in 2017 & has been 90% off before @ $4 USD on Steam.

Steam sales haven't been all that hot for years now ever since they introduced a refund policy and dropped flash sales. At this point there are better deals year round other retailers like GMG, Fanatical, Humble etc. Unless you're looking to buy and play a specific game right now it's almost never worth stocking up during Steam Sales because there is almost certainly going to be a better deal if there hasn't been already

it wasn't the refund policy that killed it
it was the change in charging other regions in their own currency that was when flash deals ended.
now instead of charging canada in the usd pricing and flash sales before we get charged canadian pricing which is actually slightly more than usd pricing.
same thing happened to humble bundle their store was cheaper when it was usd everything now its averaging out to be more expensive than fanatical usually.

You would think that after so many years, they would invest more money and fix the backend, but no...let's watch it crash and burn nearly every single year.
