Bought it a few months ago, played a few hours so far, great game, better than the diablo 3 demo I've played.

it's pretty much the same as TL1, but with multiplayer coop.
seems like you level more often in TL2 than D3, but you can't completely respec.
also, you're not forced to start on 'noob' difficulty level like D3

I'd argue that's not quite true. While a lot of the mechanics are the same it's much more open world than TL1. Where TL1 is just 1 constantly descending labyrinth, Torchlight 2 has a large open world with lots of different locales, and sidequests.
My one criticism of it, however, is that in co-op between pets and summons it can get a bit hard to see what's going on.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, though.

It's everything that Diablo3 should have been. I highly recommend it for sure. Plus, a lot of mods such as dungeons and enemies have been made by a pretty active community.

Played TL1, enjoyed it, beat the first(?) main quest/enemy, then once I got into the underground graveyard (bottom right of spawn area), I got bored. But I'll probably go back and continue playing at some point, since I've only played one character so far.

Will definitely have to look at picking up TL2. I've been meaning to but never got around to it.
Looks like I'll be adding TL2 and FTL to my cart this weekend!
