Just use the WordArt feature on Word. Type one letter and resize it manually to cover the whole page.
You also can also use any font you want.

Stencils
I've searched but can't find free large (8/11") letter/alphabetic stencils online. My word processor can't make letters that big.

I don't want to waste printer ink, how do I outline/bold the border of a letter only on my word processor?

In Word, highlight the text, right click on "Fonts", under Effects, put a check next to "Outline"._______________
