Stove Burner problem
I have an 8 year old electric range made by Inglis. For some reason, the large front left burner is malfunctioning. Every time it's on, it goes to full power and we can't control the temperature. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Is it something as simple as replacing the burner?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

The stove control is defective. A bad burner gets red hot in just one spot.
Get a new one from Mabe/Camco:

Some HD/Rona/Lowes stores sell parts, but you need to match the part number. They may look the same, but they are different.
