You could probably talk to them. Although I don't think I've been on a street in this country that kids don't play ball on.

Street Kids
In my neighbourhood, there are these bunch of kids who always play on the street. There's no "Ball Playing Prohibited" sign, but they're always playing football, ball hockey or some kind of sport. The reason I care is, what if the football breaks my car window or something, is there a # or someone I can call?

As long as theres kids, they will always be playing. Move your car into your driveway or something...
But then again, I feel what your saying...try telling them to play somewhere else, or play up the street...LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked P__S__2 for this post.

Because
I'm looking after a car, and its not mine. My drive way is already packed. I definitely don't want to pay for a broken windshield if its not my fault. I guess that's life.

find out where they live on your street, so if damage is done you know where to go for compensation

give the kids some slack. if the window gets broken and you didn't do it, let the owners insurance cover it.
seriously....the kids could be doing so much worse...getting into ****, breaking into your house, selling or doing drugs on your street....
let them be kids and play ball!LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked dolphie for this post.

i highly doubt that a football would break your winshield, you could always just go ask the kids if they could just watch out for your car and try not to throw stuff at it, always worked for me when i used to play on the street

Well said. I think the kids are better off playing ball than going around doing worse things and maybe you can even join them in a game.LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked TheRaySta for this post.

Then why don't they play ball infront of their own home? Same stupid parents who complain when I park my car infront of their house. But its okay for their stupid kids to play infront of mine.
If they do drugs, not my problem. Why can't they go to a park? Where's the respect in that?LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked HeartbreakerP for this post.

Well, Im not happy about people parking in front of my house. It annoys the hell out of me.
You're right though, they shouldnt play in front of your house. Tell them to play in front of their own, cause balls break stuff.LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked alv077 for this post.

they, or their friends probably live on the block and that area is probably the biggest part of the street._______________

Look
If it came down to playing ball and drugs, those kids got bigger issues.
When they cracked my driverside window last year, I didn't see anybody own up? Its all fun and games until your stuff get broken.LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked HeartbreakerP for this post.

I am glad that kids are actually playing outside. So many kids are stuck indoors. I'm pretty sure they are playing there because one of the kids live around there.
