Small ones... like National Bank of Canada. TD seems to be the worst in my previous experience.

student loc
i need to get a student loc for january and want to know what the best bank to go with that does not require co-signer
i make around $24000/year and i have had a scotiabank visa for just over 6 months
scotiabank requires a cosigner and i am unable to get one
also, after making a visa payment how long does it take to update with your equifax/credit report?
thanks
johny

You should have a co signer
You should have a co-signer. I had the same issue and had to ask my dad to cosign ( some working person )

As an undergrad, you'll need a cosigner unless you'll be keeping up that income while you're at school and ratios are in line. If you're studying for certain graduate degrees (the one's that make money, so not a Masters in Philosophy) you can be approved on your own, without income.

Anyone know what chances I'd have at getting a student LOC without a co-signer? I'm making about $10k annually, in my final year of undergrad.
