If you're going to quote prices, perhaps help out fellow RFDers by providing where and when such deals occurred? I found a Porsche for $1,000, just take my word for it...And,
- No Operating System
- Your prices deal with MIR, Dell does not
- Add $50 if you want the computer assembled by a trained technician
- Not sure where you're finding a $100 BR drive

no need for me to quote the exact price b/c no one is really gonna base it to buy a computer. was just giving a estimate.
save your $50 and assemble it yourself. its not rocket science
im quoting standard price from either newegg.ca or ncix. no mir.
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...rive&x=15&y=30
$90 blu ray drivel take your pick
cavier black 1tb has been on sale for many times for ~100
dell 2409 is $250 on DODs
the rest is just regular price.

thanks for the Bly-ray links, didn't know they had gotten so cheap! For me $50 is a insignificant amount for having a system assembled and tested by someone trained..my time is too valuable to be wasted assembling and troubleshooting a pc..and gain, some of your regular prices are a bit off, unless you factor in shipping or mir...buying all the parts from separate retailers doesn't make much sense if you have to pay for all the shipping

lol
it takes about an 1-2 hours to assemble a pc.
so you make $ bout 25bucks an hour. lulz
also. you would get everything off ncix. with freeshipping( $10 gift card)
and price matching off other cheaper retailer.
all the parts i picked are good parts
for example, you can get a hitachi 1tb for 80 bucks vs a cavier black for 100
for case a cm690 for $90 vs the 300 for $40
so you can "cheap" out on the parts and still have a solid pc for less amount of money i quoted.
the dell price doesnt include taxes either. so the price are kinda even

Here, let me try and see if I can get a cheaper pc lol
i7 920 - $319
6G ram -$80
Case -90
psu 650w -80
1tb cavier black -97
4870 512mb - $170
cpu heatsink -use stock, not gonna OC, just need good air flow thru case
120mm/80mm fans for the case - $14
22 inch monitor -170
mobo- $200
Blue ray drive- 95
Cheap out a few parts, got it at $1325 w/ a smaller monitor
