Stupid question - hardware switch from Rogers to Start.ca

Until January of this year, we had a separate modem and router (of our own, ASUS RT-N66U). Rogers then talked us into staying with them for a few months and gave us an upgrade in service which included a combo modem/router. Now we're switching to Start.ca and are returning to the separate modem and router situation. Do I need to reset our "old" router or can I simply plug it back in (using old settings) with the new modem and be on our way?

Thanks so much in advance.

Yes,you can use the same old setting without resetting it.

Call start.ca and make sure they have the same modem allocated to your account.......give them the serial # etc.
It should be alrighty, and good for u to leave rogers!

We purchased our modem from start.ca and have already received it. It's the router settings I'm concerned about but it sounds like I can just leave it and use the old settings.
