subwoofer/amp problem
have had my subs for over 3years now without a problem, last week, i noticed that my subs weren't sounding as powerful as they once were so i looked in the trunk and realized my amp had a wire loose so i plugged the wire back in. then i started noticing now everytime my deck turns on, my subs go on for like a second, everytime i change it from cd/tuner/aux, it does the same thing. what could it be?

Is your sub making a thump? it is probably a ground loop problem and the loose wire you plugged in was most likley the ground.

re wire the amp the power from battery, and ground wire, the ground wire maybe exposed, oxidized. replace it.
