100% guaranteed that Porsche does NOT supply off centre brackets. Parts manager at North Toronto Porsche was asking me if I knew of any good ones as they wanted to start selling them.
Tell them to ask Porsche Vancouver, seems they have a huge supply of them. It's not even the traditional tow hook mounts I see on other cars. This one has a 90° drop to avoid the parking sensors.

If I truly thought it looked cool, I would already have it. I said if I get caught for having no plates then I might have to use it. I rather use that then drill holes in the bumper.

Car come with factory milled holes for Japanese plates. Dealership didn't want to drill and told me to get a tow hook mount. After a month of front dash plate, I ended up buying a conversion kit. No drilling holes and center mounted. I see lots of other owners with tow mounts and I bet they think I drilled. Gasp!

Sure, please do, so you can show everyone how ridiculous your car looks. You might think it looks cool, but no, it really doesn't.
I don’t think his intent on showing the side mounted plate to you is to “look cool”.

How anyone cannot see the main reason for side mounts is to avoid drilling the bumper is beyond me lol. Who doesn't want symmetrical placement or better yet no front plate?

There are some rice buckets who do it to be cool. But those cars usually stick out like a sore thumb

To be cool how? I've yet to see a side mount *with* drilled holes in the centre of the bumper. All of the side mounts had a pristine centre.

I’ve seen a couple with side mounts and drilled holes in the centre. Looks so stupid.

A flying rock chipped my bumper and punched a hole in the grill. I paid to have the holes filled and now run no front plate. Worth the $ as far as I am concerned.
